Sedgemoor Campus opened for business on 3rd December with its first 238 bedrooms.
The additional 776 rooms will be available next month (March 2019) and with the Christmas closure well and truly out of the way it seemed an ideal time to have an official opening launch.
Organised by NNB, the launch saw many of the key personnel from EDF and its contractors at Sedgemoor Campus celebrating the opening of a second campus for the HPC workers.
Kevin McCarthy, HOST Chairman, said “The opening of Sedgemoor Campus in Bridgwater represents a significant milestone for the Hinkley Point C project and HOST in particular. Today is the culmination of many years of hard work and commitment by many stake holders from local authorities to local MPs, local residents, EDF and many more.
We are proud to be given the privilege of running what will be one of the largest hotel operations in Britain.
We are committed to being good neighbours to local residents and we are delighted that almost a quarter of our workforce team have been recruited from the Sydenham Housing Estate opposite the campus.”
Hinkley campus has already proved a major success with workers since its opening just eight months ago, with occupancy levels being an average 85%. Not only do residents have a clean, functional and comfortable bedroom but onsite facilities include a restaurant, café, two bars, a gym and entertainment. What more could you ask for £25 per night?
Sedgemoor Campus, with its close proximity to Bridgwater town centre is sure to be in major demand, and already bookings for March are soaring. To book your room or for more information click here or telephone our reservations team 01278 559 429
